The book describes the unhinged cesspool of Trump’s White House. There seems to be no “grand plan,†just people running in circles, changing alliances, all just hold on to their jobs. Trump’s recklessness is a source of amusement! At one point the author refers to Obama as the first “colored†president.There are several typos, rendering this very short book as a poorly edited, minimally descriptive. The vocabulary was so basic, it did not put the reader in situ.It’s as if this author in describing who got to work in this White House was among his young colleagues was not clear what his job was. My question is on what basis were these people from the campaign or Trump world, why were chosen for White House jobs?
I thoroughly enjoyed this book although it’s not like anything I’ve read before. It is very matter of fact and to the point; which made for easy comprehension. I suppose it could be hard to be so engrossed in a book about the President and his dealings but I was having a hard time putting the Kindle down. The author was great at making you actually visualize his dealings with the President. Great detail but none of the fluff!
If you don’t have time, to catch up through the whole book, this summary breaks down Sim’s perspectives of his interesting and circus-like experiences in the White House. If you’d like a snippet into what it’s like to work for the Trump machine, this one is definitely a must.
"Personal Growth Publishing" claims it's purpose is to "save you time by offering the best summaries possible". Every one of the previous reviewers must have assumed that the "summary" was actually written by Chris Simms. For example, C. M. C. S. I. writes "It’s as if this author in describing who got to work in this White House was among his young colleagues was not clear what his job was.". Even a casual reading of the respective 1st chapters will reveal that the "summaries" real purpose is to smear and obfuscate the thoughtful effort with which the real author writes to inform and illuminate. If you really want to understand the chaos around the real Donald, buy the book and skip the "summary".
This was only one side of the story but its still nice to take a peak behind the curtain that is white house politics. Good book.
