Each chapter is written as if they had no idea where in the book it would be placed.The author states conflicting facts throughout, but to be fair, so does the criminal justice system.She writes too many asides, and poorly strings out a definition or meaning over 3-5 sentences.
The book is loaded with critical material. The author shows an insane amount of knowledge and there are examples given for all concepts. The only issue I have with it is it is written more like a penal code than a book at times and the legal terminology is a bit tough for a green student like me. Overall a good book stacked with info and examples but a little hard to understand at times.
Easy Text. Short chapters. It's a really interesting topic that the authors make slightly dull, but it's really not too bad. The chapters don't take long to read, being about 25 pages on average. Don't write your class off if you're assigned this book, this is an easy one!
This book was very useful and it was exactly what I needed.

I loved this textbook in class, because it is for my major ðŸ˜. The textbook was sent with a few stains and some wear and tear, but there was no writing or highlighting in it.
missing initial chapters, loose binding had to return
