3.5 - 4 StarsI have been a fan of Red Phoenix from her very first book in this Brie series and have branched out to her other books as well. I love her writing style and the way that she captures the reader from the beginning to the end. Whenever I start reading any book, my thought is, if an author cannot catch my attention within the first few chapters of the book, then what's the point in reading it? She usually does that within the first few pages of her new books. I love all of the characters in this story and feel like I have invested in their lives in an emotional way and the way she sets up each story, you have not choice but the continue on to the next book in the series.With that said, I wanted to do a review on this book because I felt a little empty after reading it. I finished this latest book a few days ago and thought I needed to sit and gather my thoughts. I really want to love this book, but I kind of felt like I was left hanging in several different areas. What I would have loved to see was some of the emotions and reactions from both Sir and Brie after the birth of the child, I could have done less with the flashback because most of those flashbacks had to do with going back to stories we have already read. I wish the focus of it could have been more on Sir and Brie in this new chapter in their lives, as well as the twists and turns incorporated into the storyline as well. I think the incorporation of Rystar totally overpowered the story. I get that he is his best friend and blood brother, but I felt like the story was more related to the three of them, instead of the two of them. I wish the focus could have been on Sir, Brie and the baby instead of Sir, Brie and Rystar. I feel like I was left hanging as it relates to Damian and I do not understand his significance to this particular storyline. I felt like I was left hanging at the end of this book and don't know why. I feel like we have to wait for another few books to find out who the slaver was, what happened when Rystar went and found them...just left a bunch of question marks in the air that I was hoping to have answered. I get the whole wanting to keep the reader coming back for me, and I always will for these books, but Aahhhh...I do not know. This one left me feeling some way. I do not want this to be construed as a negative review because it's not. I really liked the book. However, I just can't say that I loved it like the others because there are so many questions that came with it that I've never felt after reading the other books.I would love to see a continuation of Rystar story, but separate of Sir and Brie. I think he needs to find his own love, as he has endured so much and he deserves the kind of love Sir give to Brie and vice versa. I will keep reading as many books as she writes in this series and anything new that she writes as well. She's one of those author's that draws you in and you just can't leave alone and that in and of itself is a plus in my book!

I had the pleasure of reading a ARC copy of Bound By Love!!!! I will not give it away.... But.... WOW, Red Phoenix has outdone herself. Beyond all my expectations. Suspense, love/lust filled, fun with Mary and Lea and the girls, RYSTSAR, FAMILY and our sweet little baby has joined us . Danger lurking....... Protective DOM's ... Need I say more. 😍This book will draw you in and you will love every character. Sir and Brie's bond is unforgettable, friendships that are family, the scenes..... To die for. You will not regret reading this series. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🌺👶💕

Bound by Love is a story that we have been waiting breathlessly for since the release of the previous book. My expectations were high and I had no doubt that Red Phoenix would exceed them. I’ve come to realize that she never fails.Brie…she always makes me smile with her growth, not only as a sub, but as a person. While her youth is still evident, it shows how much she has grown since that young woman starting her journey at the Center. Now, she’s a mother as well a cherished sub and beloved wife. And she embraced her new role with a full and eager heart. She made me, as always, want to just go and hang out with her because her joy is infectious.Sir…his growth as a Master and person never ceases to amaze me. His adoration of his téa, his wife, his “lil mama” is what a lot of people, man or woman, sub or Dom, search for and rarely find. His new role as father warmed my heart toward him even more. And I already loved Sir.Though there was one scene that was so hot it singed my Kindle, my favorite scene was when Sir introduced the baby to Rytsar. That one scene had tears streaming down my face, it was just so beautiful. And her name! I LOVED IT!This was a story that was full of humor, wicked HOTness, beauty, angst, terror, joy, and hilarity! There is so much more I want to say, but I refuse to spoil it for others! Suffice it to say that this was another jewel from Red Phoenix!

I was so happy to read this book! All the love! There is so much more I want to know now. I just finished and am still processing what a wild ride this is, but so much emotion is hard to handle. I have laughed, cried, and even ranted a few times. I loved Brie's father's reaction to the mouse ears and the catsup. So funny. Lea and Mary... I so hope one day they find their HEA. Rytsar... sigh. I love that man almost as much as I do Sir. The way Sir takes up his role as a father so naturally is awesome especially when you consider how he never really saw himself ever being one. I'm also so happy that Sir's aunt and uncle get to be parents. They did such an awesome job with Sir, I am certain that baby will be just fine. I love the family connections and closeness that all of them share. So darn happy about this book I can hardly contain myself. If you haven't read the whole series, you so need to. The journey that Brie and Sir have been on is such a roller coaster ride yet it was destined to be. Can't wait to see what else happens!
